  The globe valve,also called the closure dorr,is one of the most widely used valve,and its popularity is due to the small friction between the sealing surfaces during the opening and closing process,relatively durable,opening height is not large,easy to manufacture,convenient maintenance,not only suitable for low and medium pressure,but also suitable for high pressure.The closing principle of the globe valve is to rely on the pressure of the valve lever to make the sealing surface of the valve disc closely fit the sealing surface of the valve seat,blocking medium.
  The valve plays an improtant role in cutting off and throttling the medium in the pipeline where it is located,and the globe valve is a very important cut-off valve.It is sealed by applying torque to the stem,which exerts pressure on the disc in an axial direction.The sealing surface of the valve disc is closely fitted to the sealing surface of the seat to prevent the medium from leaking along the gap between the sealing surface.
  The sealing pair of the globe valve is composed of the disc sealing surface and the seat sealing surface,and the valve stem drives the valve disc to move vertically along the center line of the seat.The opening height of the stop valve is small in the process of opening and closing,and it is easy to adjust the flow rate,and it is convenient to manufacture and maintain,and the pressure is wide.

1.The basic structure of the globe valve
  The valve disc,valve stem and operating device are composed.When the operating device rotates or lifts,the disc is removes fro, the seat or closed,thereby achieving fluid control.
2.The working principle of the globe valve

What's the temperature and pressure for valves?
For metal seat, temperature range from -196ºC to 425ºC. For soft seat ball valve, temperature range from -196ºC to 200ºC. Pressure range from PN6 to PN420(150LB~2500LB).

Can ball valves regulate medium?
No, ball valves only can not use for regulating, it is a kind of isolating valve.

What are the quarter turn valves?
Ball valve, Butterfly Valve, and Plug valve are rotary motion control valves. They just need a quarter turn to come into action.

What's the direction of valves?
Ball Valve and gate valve are bi-directional valves, globe valve, check valve and y strainer have arrow on valve body to indicate direction.

What's the difference between rising stem and non-rising stem of gate valve?
The rising stem gate valve can be seen from the appearance whether the valve is closed or open. The lead screw can be seen while the non-rising stem gate valve can not. Non-rising stem gate valve handwheel will go and up when rotate handwheel, rising stem gate valve will not. And The rising stem gate valve requires a larger installation space because of the stem; the height of the Non-rising stem gate valve is small, and it will not take up too much space during installation.

What's the difference of gate valve and globe valve?
Gate valve is bi-directional valve, globe valve in single way valve and has fixed direction when install. And globe valve has better sealing than gate valve, when globe valve close, fluid medium add pressure on disc to keep better sealing. Gate Valve wedge is parallel with flange, when close, both side fluid medium add pressure on wedge.


Check Valve Introduce
Check Valve is unidirectional valve, also called one way valve, non-return valve. Because medium flow decide its direction. It has swing type, lift type(piston and ball), vertical type, butterfly type. Wafer type check valve has three types, spring return type, single disc type and double disc type. 12. What's the type of butterfly Valve?
Generally speaking, for connection ends, butterfly valve has lug type, wafer type, double flange type; for design structure, butterfly valve has concentric type, double eccentric type, triple eccentric type.
